Hearts for Cameroon is a mission group of St. John’s Presbyterian Church in West Los Angeles, California that partners with other churches and NGO's (non government organizations) to address the practical and spiritual challenges that confront the community in and around the remote village of Teze-Ngie in Cameroon, West Africa.
One of our primary sister organizations in Cameroon is the Association of Orphans and Disabled Individuals (ASODI), a group that works with:
* orphans
* children and adults with disabilities
* epileptic patients
Though Hearts for Cameroon is proud to be a part of St. John's Presbyterian Church, you need not be a member of St. John's, the Presbyterian Church, or ANY church to support our efforts. Our sponsors are a diverse group - spiritually, racially, socially, geographically, and politically. We invite ALL who have a heart for the people of Cameroon to join us in this grassroots movement to touch lives, share hope, and build relationships.
